We had a fire drill today. It was -32 wind chill. BBBRRRRR Hurry, Spring!

- I am a poor Southern Girl who is living in Alaska where it is NOT warm. My eyelashes have frozen, I have had soda freeze in a straw, and my skin splits. Nothing like the 90% humidity we have at home. When I go outdoors, I have to put on a LOT of clothes. Anything that isn't covered gets really cold. Look at my picture. Fifty percent of that is clothes. :)
I guess with the fire and family losing a home they needed a refresher course. Has the village started a shelter for that family? I have a good set of queensize jersey knit sheets I can send. To us they are to warm, like flannel sheets.
